Abstract
The exam of the many quotations of Prudentius’ hymnical production in Osbernus of Gloucester’s Derivationes (half of the 12th century) points out that probably Osbernus quotes directly Prudentius, drawing on the branch B of his manuscripts tradition, and offers a substantially reliable text.
