    Abstract

Nowadays organizations face fast organizational changes and employee turnover, e.g user are unavailable or they change roles because of a promotion, that might compromise the execution of a business process instance and, thus, the achievement of organizational business goals. In this paper, we investigate the problem of dynamic resiliency to changes in the assignment of users to roles. The goal of dynamic resiliency is to guarantee that when the assignment of users to roles changes during the execution of a business process instance, it is possible to find a user to perform the activities whose execution is still pending. We propose an approach to verify that the execution of a business process instance can terminate when there are changes in the in the assignment of users to roles.
